How to program laser beam signal

How far can a signal laser beam reach?

One of the most common uses of lasers, but no less spectacular for that, is the Signal Laser Beam.
In practice, it is a laser beam, most often single, that connects 2 points.
Let’s find out more about the methods and characteristics of this special effect.

The beam can be any color, this factor depends only on the projector we use, green remains the color most perceptible to the human eye, so all things being equal, it is the most effective.

Does the signal laser beam need smoke?

The presence of smoke, or humidity, is certainly a factor that expands and increases the visibility of our beam. But being a particular effect, which concentrates all the power of the projector in a single point, it is easily visible even without the help of smoke (obviously it depends on the power and the lower beam divergence of the projector in question).

Is the signal laser beam dangerous?

Yes. The single laser beam is the most potentially dangerous use that can be made with a laser projector, this is clearly if the international safety regulations for the installation and use of the laser projector are not carefully followed, only expert certified laser operators can use these lasers.

Can laser beams disturb planes?

Yes. Laser beams, especially when used with high-powered lasers, can disturb planes in transit. For this reason, it is good practice to check whether its path crosses an airport, and in that case not to point it in that direction, or to make it “die” against some other structure (without people presence).

In cases of particular need, it is possible to contact the airport authority in question to notify them of the event, and ask for permission to carry out the projection, but it is a very complex solution as you can imagine, which can allow you to project in a given period of time that is granted to you.
