Dancing fountains and water screens

Dancing fountains, walls and water screens: the spectacle of water and light is a timeless magic! Water is an element that has always lent itself to the creation of scenographic contexts and special effects. The imposing fountains of ancient Rome or the marvelous baroque creations that, with their sense of the extraordinary, have enchanted visitors and the curious for centuries, tell us this.

Today, the spectacle of water is even more fascinating, especially when it is enriched with modern light effects: laser shows, projections on water screens and special effects of various types.

What can be created with water and light? How do dancing fountains or water walls work and what are they? Let’s see it together.

Dancing fountains: the dynamism of water

Have you ever seen jets of water dance and draw shapes thanks to the light that passes through them? It is such a fascinating spectacle that the city of Dubai has reserved a place of honor for it: the Dubai Fountain, an imposing and majestic attraction.

Dancing fountains offer wonderful choreographies, usually performed to the rhythm of a soundtrack. A system of nozzles and pipes allows, in fact, to design suggestive water shows down to the smallest detail. Versatile and with multiple creative possibilities, they are perfect for large bodies of water as well as for a limited setting.

The majesty of water screens: Laser Entertainment proposals

The dynamism of dancing fountains is accompanied by the majesty of water screens, where water and light, together, offer a spectacular and suggestive show.

Projections on water screens are possible thanks to the use of specific equipment. Lasers or video projectors draw images, plays of light, three-dimensional effects on the water screen. The images can be more or less clear, in a play of colors and shades that lends itself to creating ever new and astonishing effects.

For this type of show, Laser Entertainment has developed three types of products:

– curtain or falling water screens (which cover surfaces from 3 meters wide up to 20 meters and with variable heights, and also in a circular shape)
– fan-shaped water screens (starting from 12 x 6 meters high up to 40 x 20 meters high)
– falling graphic water screens (modules that can be assembled, for more details see the Waterscreen page)

This variety allows us to cover every type of need and offer water screens for small and large events.
